Summary:

As a member of the Netgear Taiwan Engineering Center, you will be responsible for the product security management for the home wireless networking products.

Job Description:

• Manage product security issues and vulnerabilities related to our networking products in a timely manner.

• Close communication with the security team in San Jose Headquarter for product security issues.

• Work closely with 3rd party vendors and ODM to clarify and resolving the security issues.

• Actively tracking the latest vulnerabilities and securities events and evaluate the impact on our products.

• Providing security consultant and recommendation for product and software function design.

• Design security functions for home wireless products.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of embedded software firmware development manager role in networking products.
• 8+ years of security-related software engineering for networking products in the Linux system.
• Security Firewall Router software development and is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of network security vulnerability and technology.
• Strong Knowledge of defense programming and how to write secure software.
• Self-starter who can work on hand on tasks well in a team environment.
• Effective organization, project management, and coordination skills.
• Ability to track and resolve issues, and build up the system or process to prevent the same.
• Ownership of driving team to achieve the products/projects requirements.
• Excellent communication skills both in English and Chinese written and verbal.
