Responsibilities

1. This is a full-time and on-site position located at our HQ in Xindian, New Taipei City, Taiwan, overseeing the business operations in Europe.

2. This position involves both direct communication with overseas partners as well as supporting our local sales and marketing team with everything they need from the HQ.

3. The applicant will be responsible for all of Gigabyte’s consumer grade product categories.

4. While not immediately required to have knowledge of all the product categories, the applicant will be expected to acquire sufficient knowledge of all the categories within a reasonable time frame. Product training will be provided on a regular basis.

5. Our sales and marketing focus is always centered on and around the end user (gamer) experience. As such the applicant will spend a considerable amount of time, both independently and together with the regional team, formulating sales and marketing strategies to improve both the brand’s image and create sales conversion.

6. The applicant will be required to prepare regular presentations to inform the rest of the team members as well as supervisors of the team’s overall performance, highlighting the pain points, the achievements and brainstorming the next steps.

7. The applicant must have great analytical skills to figure out where to obtain the required data and know how to analyze the said data to identify both the pain points and the opportunities as quickly and accurately as possible.

8. Frequently, the applicant will monitor the channel run-rate of all product categories at all key accounts to identify issues and opportunities.

9. The applicant will always act as a bridge between all relevant stakeholders, be it the partners, rest of the team members or the management by maintaining a balanced approach and not leaning too much towards any side and gaining the trust of each party.

10. The applicant will keep and periodically update a price comparison table.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 4-years of bachelor’s degree.

2. Minimum 2 years of full-time work experience as an overseas salesperson. Experience within the PC hardware or consumer electronics industry would be a huge plus.

3. A (B2C) consumer brand experience would be a huge plus.

4. Well-organized and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and still able to deliver good results.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

6. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

7. Pro-active and positive thinking with a strong ownership of responsibilities and goals.

8. Able to think strategically and analytically to assess every situation and develop action plans to deliver the desired results.

9. Able to stay calm and function without any issues in a fast-paced, high-pressure and results-oriented environment.

10. Good knowledge of basic MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

11. Being an excellent team player, but also able to function independently at the same time.

12. Strong interest in either the gaming industry, PC hardware or consumer electronics.

13. Being a PC gamer would be a huge plus.

Salary will be evaluated based on academic background and years of related work.
