Glycogenetics is a research-centric biotechnology company with a keen focus on solving technological challenges in glycobiology.

We are looking for a Ph.D.-level research scientist in mammalian cell biology. The job will be responsible for investigating human glycobiology through cell engineering and genome-wide screening. The goal is to deepen our understandings of human glycobiology, and to use these discoveries to propel drug target discovery and drug development.

A qualified candidate should demonstrate strong research experiences in any of the listed research topics:

1. Using CRISPR-Cas9 or other systematic approaches for genome-wide screening studies;

2. Developing flow cytometry-based HTS and/or HCS approaches.

3. Developing bio-assays for specific biological responses for cellular screening studies;

4. Developing genetic circuits for cellular studies.

The candidate will be working with a team of researchers of dynamic backgrounds, and also be collaborating with academic and industrial researchers around the world. This job will require a strong ability to communicate and work with colleagues of different research disciplines. A qualified candidate will be expect to oversee a research project, and to be able to guide a group of no more than four researchers in doing research projects. The candidate would be encouraged to publish research findings that are aligned with the company policy.

哥吉生技以遺傳工程與合成生物學為技術基礎，進行醣生物技術開發與相關藥物開發。公司位於桃園青埔之研發實驗室正在尋找細胞生物學背景之博士級研究員，參與基因體層級之系統性生物篩選研究，以應用於人類細胞株之醣體生物功能鑑定與藥物標的篩選，以及後續臨床應用開發工作。合適的應徵者應具有下列任一相關研究經驗：

1. 以CRISPR-Cas9或其他系統性基因修飾技術進行基因體功能研究。

2. 開發Flow Cytometry為主之高通量或高涵量分析技術。

3. 開發特定細胞為主之生物檢定方法。

4. 開發基因迴路系統。

此工作會與公司內部各類不同領域研究者團隊合作，並且有機會與國際學術與產業研究實驗室合作交流。合格的應徵者應具有獨立設計與管理研發計劃，並帶領小型團隊執行研究之能力。公司亦鼓勵適當發表研究成果。
