DescriptionWhat You Will Do In Your RolePrimary Purpose

• As QA manager, you will develop and lead a QA process and system that is in line with the Molex QA system and suitable for chip development. You will also be part of a product segment lead team and are expected to help deliver a new product line that will meet customers performance and quality needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Owner of product quality, drives activities to meet overall product quality and reliability objective working directly with customers, Molex engineering and QA groups as well as our external manufacturing partners
• Establish, improve, and maintain a semiconductor Quality Management System to meet the expectations of customers
• Setup and coach the semiconductor quality assurance team ensuring full integration to the CCS Quality Assurance Team
• Drive Final Quality Assurance (FQA) development, documentation, optimization & execution during new product development
• Own the product Master Test Plan (MTP), quality criteria and approvals for product phase milestones/gates, and Engineering Change
• Review design and development of new technologies with subject matter experts and assess risks and gaps in validation
• Focal point and voice of Quality and Reliability in Product Development Core Teams and Product Development Teams (PDT)
• Provide regular VP level communication of program quality
• Project Management/Oversight of Process Improvement Projects with Engineering
• Communicate and collaborate within internal organizations and engage external customers
• Proactive involvement in the resolution of customer issues; act as the “Voice of Customer” during discussions that could impact product quality
• Leading teams to identify corrective actions and proactively resolve problems through the Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA Process). Coordinate Qual plan and reliability issues with customer & Operations for screen methods & process solutions
• Writing / Updating Quality and Operational specifications (working with other departments/sites as needed)

The Experience You Will BringEducationRequirements:RequiredBS in Manufacturing or EngineeringRequiredWORK EXPERIENCE:10+ years’ experience in semiconductor Chip quality and manufacturing systems and techniques including ISO 9001, SPC, TQM and customer/supplier management desiredPREFERRED: 4+ years in a management role, experience with developing product for smartphone marketWhat Will Put You AheadRequiredSKILLS & ABILITIES:
