Circuit reliability is a fast-growing market for IC design and Siemens’ Calibre® PERC™ software is a market leader for manufacturing reliability sign-off software delivering new checking functionalities previously unattainable with traditional verification tools. Insight EDA has been a pioneer in the use of EDA automation to address design specific circuit reliability, bringing in new and more efficient circuit reliability analysis use models to the industry.

We’re looking for a Product Engineer to join the team in Hsinchu.

Responsibilities

This Product Engineer position at Siemens EDA/Taiwan plays a meaningful role in the success of Siemens’s customers as they craft the state-of-the-art IC products. This person collaborates with semiconductor foundries and R&D to solve technical challenges in the areas of deep sub-micron technology, low power and reliability. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

JOB DUTIES:- Work with key customers to understand business needs and define new technologies and techniques to build the future of reliability verification.

• Collaborate with multi-functional teams and other product groups to build an innovative product roadmap.
• Develop reliability solutions across a wide range of applications and industries.
• Analyze and debug customer issues and needs to provide best in practice solutions to customers.
• Intensive technical communication with customers and software R&D to understand, interpret the requirements to develop the solutions.
  
  

JOB SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:- BS/MS CS/EE or equivalent

• Must have at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Validated experiences in integrated circuit design, preferably at the transistor level with a focus on analog design, custom or semi-custom IP blocks and SoC assembly.
• Knowledge of various SPICE environments for analog and digital simulation is desired.
• Customer interactions will largely be focused with circuit design engineers and technical management including circuit reliability issues, layout effects, clock-tree design and memory structures.
  
  

ADDITIONAL ATTRIBUTES INCLUDE:- Knowledge of circuit reliability design issues, including low power, mixed signal, floating gates, domain crossing, leakage and others.

• Experience with device and interconnect modeling tools/methodologies. Particularly familiarity with point-to-point (P2P) resistance, TLP and VF-TLP measurements with multiple tools for both static and multifaceted solutions.
• Prior experience with CAD scripting and rule deck languages: SVRF/TVF, Tcl/Tk, Skill, Perl, Scheme, etc.
