The Role
In this position, you will join a great team in Ampere, Taiwan, and work with top industry talents, contributing to operations by supporting volume production. ATE Engineers work closely with hardware, DFT, production teams, and quality assurance personnel to ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications. You will also be part of the new product development team to transfer and ramp new products into volume production.
What you’ll do
- Support ARM Server CPU characterization, bring up, maintenance, and failure analysis from NPI to high volume production on ATE.
- Work closely with supply-chain partners and external vendors on test coverage, test hardware (WS, FT, SLT), debug and test program implementation
- Responsible for production lot disposition and low-yield analysis/debug
- Working with production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce cost through yield improvement, test time reduction, and other techniques.
- Drive and resolve engineering/production issues, including process, hardware, and test issues.
- Staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
What you’ll bring
- Solid background in ATE testing/product engineering, test methodology, and DFT/DFM.
- Knowledge of semiconductor fundamentals and CMOS circuits.
- knowledge of statistical methods and process control.
- Written and verbal presentation skills in English.

Education & Experience
- BSEE or MSEE with 8+ years in semiconductor product test engineering. Potential candidates with less years’ but relevant experience are also considered.
- Software development skills, C/C++, Python.
- Experiences with ATE platforms – Advantest 93K is preferred.
