What you will be doing asPlanning Chief- Ayvalik Plant

The core focus of the activity is to manage all production planning activities in Ayvalik Plant through optimized weekly and monthly production plan with sales forecasts and production constraints.

This will be done through the following main activities:

• Collect and consolidate weekly and monthly forecasts for seed, oil and meal.
• Improve the sales forecast accuracy, planning accuracy, inventory level days, OTIF
• Consolidate actual and forecasted demand
• Produce an optimized monthly and yearly capacity plan with sales forecasts and production constraints.
• Planning all export orders and managing export order process and be active on any possible delays to match expected delivery schedule.
• Actively help commercial team in forecasting issues: be proactive in suggesting improvements to the process, in cooperation with business and function
• Take part in all Demand Segment Review’s, Olive Oil Capability and Procurement Capability meetings.
• Timely respond to new/unforecasted demand and incorporate that in production plan/production schedule/replenishment schedule, as appropriate and within business policies.
• Preparing daily production schedule for bottling based on weekly forecast and actual customer demands from SAP.
• Preparing Daily/weekly monthly packaging material planning coordinated with the procurement team and oil demand planning coordinated with inventory control team.
• Preparing Production orders
• Month Closing Activities
  

The position is based in Ayvalik Plant. It will report to our Planning Manager, located in Istanbul office and be part of a team of 3 persons.

What do we expect?

• Graduate of industrial engineering field
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in FMCG area
• Forecasting Modelling knowledge (time series analysis, linear and multiple regression analysis)
• SAP knowledge is a plus
• Proficient in Turkish and English languages
• MS Office knowledge- especially excel average level
• Highly analytical
• Problem solving and interpersonal skills
