We are looking for an enthusiastic & talented Marketing Specialist / Assistant Brand Manager to help us in our overall marketing efforts. You will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion.

Brand & Product Management

  • Support the line manager to formulate comprehensive brand and category marketing strategies for Glico Taiwan.
  • Develop and execute engaging marketing campaigns for the designated brand and projects, partnering with external agencies to ensure seamless implementation of marketing activities and programs while maintaining high-quality execution.
  • Oversee and conduct thorough performance reviews and analyses of marketing campaigns to assess their effectiveness and impact.
  • Manage the annual advertising and promotional (A&P) budget effectively to optimize resource allocation and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Assist in the seamless launch of new products and related commercialization activities, ensuring a smooth transition into the market while adhering to established timelines and strategies.

Market and Consumer Insight

  • Proactively monitor market and competitive dynamics, diligently gathering market insights and conducting trend analysis to identify emerging marketing opportunities.
  • Collaborate with JP CR colleagues on qualitative and quantitative research projects to uncover consumer usage and attitude insights, identifying both opportunities and barriers for the brand.

Administrative Support

  • Facilitate the gathering and meticulous documentation of internal product data, maintaining accuracy and completeness throughout the filing process to support efficient operations.
  • Provide essential administrative support by proficiently managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling various day-to-day tasks as necessary to ensure smooth operations within the department.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

  • BA degree, MBA/Master degree in marketing is preferred.
  • Fluent English is a must-have. Japanese language capability is a plus.
  • 3+ years marketing related working experience in FMCG, food & beverage experience is preferred.
  • Capable of initiating marketing brief with experience of implementation of marketing planning with proven records.

· A&M and project management experience

  • Self-motivated, independent, and resilient individual capable of adapting to dynamic work environments.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, essential for effective interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Passionate about food and beverage categories and well-versed in brand management concepts.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI, enabling efficient data analysis and reporting.
