About The Job

Main responsibilities:

  • Implement, monitor and assist PMs to formulate marketing & promotion plan based on market research and provide strategy to overcome market problems.
  • Recommend marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Review monthly “rolling forecast” to ensure timely delivery of goods and keep inventory within budget.
  • Recommend and seek approval for promotional materials in meeting marketing strategies.
  • Meet or exceed the annual goals of product contribution in assigned product group.
  • Recommend and supervise the implementation of global marketing strategy.
  • Implement the development and validation of long range planning and forecasting models for budget and production needs of the brand to ensure accuracy.
  • Implement the development of positioning and key strategies for the responsible product groups via the brand planning process.
  • Cooperate with DM/SDM/NSM for the area strategy to achieve sales target.
  • Collaborate with KAM and sales force for pricing strategy.
  • Monitor and reinforce training to sales force to increase their competitive edge.
  • Coordinate with market research / communications / public affairs and medical teams to achieve business goal.
  • Develop and maintain market intelligence databases.
  • Monitor and control medical activities like medical society meeting, overseas congress, lecture tour and symposium within plan expense.
  • Integral part of cross-functional brand team through the development working relationships with clinical, medical regulatory affairs, sales and finance departments.
  • Help to identify potential medical trials and trial investigators and expedite the completion of trial.
  • Uncover Therapeutic Portfolio opportunities through market researches and close contact of environment.
  • Support hospital listing activities to ensure product listing.
  • Propose pricing strategy, collaborate with Public Affairs and be responsible for BNHI application.
  • Ensure the development of professional skills among PMs and other marketing personnels.
  • Ensure that marketing team develop and maintain current and thorough information on their assigned products.
  • Share field information with team members and cooperate for joint meetings.
  • Develop professional working relationship with sales managers and representatives where appropriate.
  • Undertake duties in accordance with Company policies and SOP.
  • Manage product core selling message and create FAQ database.
  • Effective management of advertising and promotion budgets and effectiveness.
  • Build up, develop and maintain the good relationship with KOLs, government authorities, pharmaceutical experts, academic personalities, local policy makers and major customers.
  • Manage relations with advertising and other external agencies.
  • Ensure day-to-day management of the portfolio e.g., customer complaints and enquiries, pricing and packaging changes and supply of sample packs.
  • Ensure all business and promotional activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Sanofi employee must understand of own roles and responsibilities in avoiding health risk (Health), preventing accidents (Safety) and environment protection (Environment). Involved in any such activities must comply with HSE policy.

About You

Experience:

  • At least 7:8 years experience in Sales & Marketing management in major Pharmaceutical Company.
  • At least 4:5 years successful experience as Senior Product Manager or higher in major successful products with.
  • 2:3 years people management experience.

Education: B. Sc. Degree or above, major in Pharmacy or related Health Science; M. Sc. or MBA is a plus.
