Disney+ is the dedicated streaming home for movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star. As part of Disney’s Direct-to-Consumer and International (DTCI) segment, Disney+ is available on most internet-connected devices and offers commercial-free programming with a variety of original feature-length films, documentaries, live-action and animated series and short-form content. Alongside unprecedented access to Disney’s incredible library of film and television entertainment, the service is also the exclusive streaming home for the latest releases from The Walt Disney Studios.

The Senior Manager, Brand & Content Marketing, will be an integral part of the Disney+ team in Taiwan. Reported to the Head of Marketing, the role will be responsible for marketing the regional contents on Disney+ in Taiwan.

He/she will partner with social marketing, local performance marketing and customer retention teams to develop a cohesive go-to-market strategy and define project timelines from ideation to launch, working ultimately towards one joint acquisition target.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop the brand and content marketing strategy for Disney+ in Taiwan with the focus on Korean contents and potentially other contents from the U.S. or the region
  • Solely responsible for the integrated marketing campaigns for the assigned contents throughout the whole process from formulating strategies, planning, leading, execution and supervision
  • Annual and campaign budget planning
  • Plan high level PR and social media strategies as part of the integrated campaigns with the support of internal teams and/ external agencies to execute
  • Manage media campaigns with media agencies from briefing, planning, supervising and reporting
  • Work with internal operation teams and external vendors on assets localization/ creation
  • Manage all aspects of the integrated marketing campaigns including event, promotion and partnership and any related marketing and promotional activities if applicable
  • Partner with Regional Marketing teams and other territories (i.e. HK) to leverage regional plans and marketing assets
  • Work with external partners such as device partners (i.e. LG, SONY) and platforms (i.e. Apple, Google) on asset deployments and other activations.
  • Obtain approval on marketing materials and campaign from internal/ external stakeholders as required
  • Regular updates to management and regional office
  • Related administrative tasks
  • Work with internal research team to rollout market research as required
  • Other supports as required by the supervisor

Basic Qualifications :

  • Minimum 10 years comprehensive and demonstrable experience in building direct-to-consumer brands, entertainment industry or similar multinational company (candidates with less experience may be considered for a Manager grade position)
  • Experience and knowledge in promoting Korean entertainment content or other Asian content is a plus
  • Strong experience developing and managing brand marketing campaigns with execution experience across the marketing mix
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape and cultural nuances in Taiwan
  • Experience identifying research insights and presenting actionable recommendations
  • Comprehensive experience pitching, converting and managing brand marketing partnerships
  • Ability to influence internal and external cross-functional teams effectively
  • Proven track record as a self-starter in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Experiences in working with multiple agencies (i.e. media agencies, PR agencies, social agencies etc)
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated organizational, planning and analytical skills
  • Fluent in written and verbal English communication skills
  • Creative mindset with the ability to leverage on data to develop strategies/decisions
  • Able to apply data and insights to strategy to drive results
  • Results-oriented
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure and a good team player
  • Literacy in Korean language a plus
