The purpose of this role is to assist the legal team by providing basic legal support and contributing to the workload of the team or department to which the Trainee Lawyer is allocated. Experience and exposure through these tasks allow the Trainee Lawyer to develop the key skills required to become a lawyer.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

．Undertakes legal research

．Undertakes negotiation, review, drafting and management of contracts of the companies and departments assigned by the line manager

．Provides legal opinion and possible solutions to the actual and potential disputes

．Deals with the legal and administrative affairs with respect to the company registration.

．Supports implementation of best-practices in compliance, contract management, intellectual property, and data protection

．Co-works with other senior members and supports specific cross-brands projects assigned by the line managers

．Develops and delivers training, and legal risk management initiatives, to assist management in strategically managing legal risks (e.g. business training, legal updates, regulatory newsletters, etc.)

．Participates in the legal department’s marketing and networking strategies as directed

Basic qualifications:

．Have Web3.0 or cryptocurrency-related cases experiences

．5 years’ experience of legal practice

．Taiwan bar required

Preferred qualifications:

．Experience in law firms would be a plus.

．Fluent in English

．Has experience in IP-related cases
