CB Group is hiring an exceptional individual to undertake the role of an investment analyst, reporting directly to the Head of Investments, and Executive Director. The job role will be relatively broad and cover assets including listed equities, private equity, real estate, etc. in mainland China, Taiwan, the UK, and the US, etc.

The intention is for the investment analyst to start from performing fund manager selection and monitoring and gradually build up to equity analysis and selection of both listed and private equity, etc. We are ideally looking for candidates who:

• Are able to think critically, independently, and creatively

• Can change their mind quickly when the facts change

• Are emotionally calm

• Have a hard-working can-do attitude

• Understand China well, and other countries to a reasonable level

• Are willing and able to work in Taipei

• Ideally have a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience (e.g. in equity analysis, corporate finance, manager selection, strategy consulting, etc.)

• Are able to read, analyze, derive and communicate insight from financial statements

• Can communicate fluently in English and Mandarin Chinese

• Have a high level of integrity

Compensation: Competitive and dependent on the candidate.
