Our customers are some of the most successful industry leaders around the globe.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Head of SPM-Electrical Manufacturing for a permanent position in ABU DHABI (United Arab Emirates). This position will ensure the smooth and efficient production of high-quality electronic assemblies as utilized by our advanced guided systems. It also plays a crucial role in leading a team of engineers and technicians, optimizing manufacturing processes, adhering to regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Key AccountabilitiesLeadership And Team Management

• Provide strong leadership and direction to the SPM-Electrical manufacturing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering collaboration, professional development, and an environment of learning.

SPM-Electrical Manufacturing Strategy And Planning

• Develop and implement a strategic plan for SPM-Electrical manufacturing, aligning it with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, capacity enhancement, and infrastructure upgrades to optimize the SPM-Electrical manufacturing operations.

Manufacturing Process Optimization

• Continuously evaluate and enhance the SPM-Electrical manufacturing processes, implementing best practices, cutting-edge technologies, and automation to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SPM-Electricals into our precision guided munition systems.

SPM-Electrical Design And Development

• Work closely with the electronic engineering team to provide design for manufacturability (DFM) input during the SPM-Electrical design phase.
• Collaborate on SPM-Electrical layout reviews and ensure design guidelines and standards are followed.

Quality Assurance And Control

• Establish and maintain robust quality control systems to ensure that all SPM-Electrical products produced meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and tests to identify and rectify any defects or deviations in the manufacturing processes.

Supplier And Vendor Management

• Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors for sourcing high-quality SPM-Electrical materials, components, and equipment.
• Negotiate contracts, ensure timely procurement, and manage vendor performance to meet production demands and maintain cost-effective operations.

Regulatory Compliance And Safety

• Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, international engineering standards, and safety protocols at all stages of SPM-Electrical manufacturing.
• Provide guidance to the team regarding safe work practices and create a culture of safety and adherence to relevant regulations.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives

• Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives within SPM-Electrical manufacturing, focusing on quality, efficiency, waste reduction, and cost optimization.

Experience / Knowledge/Qualification

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Additional certifications or advanced degrees

in SPM-Electrical manufacturing will be a plus (e.g. IPC certification).

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in SPM-Electrical manufacturing, preferably within the precision guided munition industry or

a defense-related domain.

• Proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of successfully managing SPM-Electrical manufacturing operations,

team leadership, and process optimization.

• In-depth knowledge of SPM-Electrical design principles, fabrication, assembly, and testing processes.
• Strong understanding of surface mount technology (SMT), through-hole technology (THT), multilayer SPM-Electricals, and related

manufacturing equipment.

• Familiarity with international engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems applicable to the

precision-guided munition industry.

• Proficient in using SPM-Electrical design software and manufacturing software (e.g., Altium Designer, CAM software).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-

technical stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and implement effective solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results within tight deadlines and

budgetary constraints.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage.
