The Summer Internship program will start by the beginning of June or the beginning of July 2022. It is a 12-14 week full time intern program.

Note: By applying to this position you will have an opportunity to share your preferred working location from the following: New Taipei, Banqiao District, New Taipei City, Taiwan; Xindian District, New Taipei City, Taiwan; Taipei, Taiwan.

Minimum qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Optical Engineering or related fields.
• Experience in IC Design, Computer Architecture, Power Supply, Signal and Power Integrity, Wireless Communications, Hardware/System Validation
• Experience in tools like Oscilloscope, Labview, Ansys HFSS, Cadence Sigrity tools, VNA; programming languages like Python, C/C++
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Returning to a degree program after completion of the internship.
• Tech internships or work experience (i.e. research assistant, teaching assistant, personal projects outside the classroom, etc.) in Hardware, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Optical Engineering or other related field.
• Related test/design/manufacturing/prototyping tools experience.

About The Job

As a Hardware Intern, you will work on our core Consumer Hardware products. Depending on your background and experience, you will be working in one of the following areas:

Electrical Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer intern, you will have the opportunity to design, develop, and deploy next-generation consumer hardware. You will define board layout constraints and requirements, oversee physical engineering design layout, and work cross-functionally on system integration. You will also work cross-functionally with mechanical design, operation, and product to deliver systems to production.

Hardware Validation Engineer (Automation)

As Hardware Validation intern, you’ll be responsible for consumer hardware product excellence by developing automation tools to perform module and system-level validation and contribute to design optimization. You will have the opportunity to define automation architecture of hardware sub-system and research in different methodologies of design validation. You’ll work cross-functionally with Designers, Engineers, and Contract Manufacturers to develop validation tools and deliver high quality products in the market.

Silicon Power Engineer

As a Silicon Power intern, you will have the opportunity to model the key SoC components’ power considering architecture/design, implementation and process and also put other factors such as process distribution into the model.
