As a Firmware Engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our business grows and evolves. You will be versatile, display leadership qualities and be interested in taking on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward. You’ll develop the whole software stack for future smarter android devices. You will also help architect, develop, test, and deploy complex embedded consumer devices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support Android Wireless Connectivity (e.g., Wi-Fi/Bluetooth) features for Pixel devices.
• Address a variety of System on Chip (SoCs), and work with partners and vendors.
• Investigate and address the root cause of firmware/software issues.
