This key role will analyze and partner with Business Unit (BU) head to understand business performance and product profitability and to support productivity actions and metrics. The role will work closely with BU head to develop reporting, which is used to provide actionable insights, support the achievement of annual operating targets and ensure that effective cost controls are in place. This position will directly report to the responsible BU head with dotted line reporting to CFO at headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation of financial results and key metrics of responsible business unit
• Maintain ongoing analyses of business performance: analyze and report key operational metrics (productivity, utilization) and assist in creating action plans for underperforming results
• Conduct the annual business planning and budgeting process
• Coordinate with various departments, i.e., HR, Marketing, Finance to accurately reforecast various budget and expenses on future forecasting
• Conduct “what if” analysis to support proposed business transactions and opportunities
• Review project budget to actual results to proactively monitor realization/margins

Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years of experience, preferably with an accounting/advisory firm or other professional services firm
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate
• Ability to be a proactive self-starter, work independent with close attention to detail
• Must be flexible in order to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask with detailed responsibilities for various aspects of the company’s work
