Tasks

  • Responsible for full sets of accounts including month-end and year-end closing and preparing and presenting financial and management reports;
  • Ensure that all supplier invoices, staff claims etc, are booked into ERP on a timely basis and payment are made according to due date;
  • Ensure that all sales invoice and customer receipts are booked into ERP timely and accurately, work with sales and order processing team to ensure timely collections of AR;
  • Responsible for annual budgeting and monthly business forecast;
  • Maintain accurate and complete fixed asset list and inventory list with physical stock count to be performed annually;
  • Ensure adequate internal controls over financial reporting and initiate areas for improvement;
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of all statutory reporting e.g. annual audit report, corporate tax filing, GST returns (on a quarterly basis) to update Regional CFO on changes to/requirement of local accounting standards and regulations that may impact business operations.
Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in Accounting/book keeping;
  • Good understanding in local accounting standards and has experience with IFRS;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Pro-active, flexible and adaptable;
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask;
  • Computer literate, especially Proficiency in MS office excel;
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy in work;
  • Able to work independently and under time pressure to meet reporting deadline;
  • High degree of discretion when dealing with confidential information;
  • IT savvy and familiar with commercial Accounting software;
  • Keen eye for improvement and positive attitude to implement changes;
  • Experience with office administration in similar capacity;
