Job Description

External Manufacturing Team is seeking a highly qualified OSAT site Sr. Operation Engineering (based in Hsinchu, Taiwan) to drive quality, operation and OEE to achieve Zero defect program go through Structured Problem Solving. The Sr. Operation Engineering is responsible for leading all aspects of Change Management, Value Engineering and C ontinuous Improvement Program between OSAT and internal team.

Job Description

Responsibility for performance of assigned supplier factory to meet given metrics

• Proactively manage and anticipate process performance/ quality/ change management to achieve Zero defect.
• Assist with quality execution (Maverick lot, MRB, and Customer Complaint) within the OSAT.
• Understanding of all capacity requirements, constraints and processes to support demand requirements
• Establish both Leading and Lagging Indicators to track the performance of the assigned Supplier factories
• To drive the assigned suppliers on continuous improvement program and Value Engineering projects.
• Take complete ownership to interface with relevant supplier resources and Assembly/ Test Process Engineering, QA, Planning and Business Unit to ensure resolutions to any quality issues.
• Provide leadership role on all Operations matters

Job Requirements

Communication and people interaction skills

• Working exposure in high volume IC subcontracting environment
• Good knowledge on Structured Problem Solving. (e.g.: Is/ Is Not, 3-5 why….etc.).
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Experience with statistical analysis techniques such as DOE, SPC, and data summary.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field with minimum 6 years of working experience in the areas of Package Development, Production, Quality, Engineering or Supply Chain Management (Wire bonding base)
• Ability to manage operation remotely
