English Teacher in Xindian

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English teacher to join our team at an Elementary school and Kindergarten in Xindian, New Taipei. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English, PE, and math to students between the ages of 4-10, with 26 teaching hours per week. The hourly rate for this position is $700 NTD or more, commensurate with experience. We have both morning and afternoon classes available.Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver lesson plans that adhere to the school’s educational philosophy, which incorporates the Reggio Emilia Approach and Waldorf activities.
• Conduct assessments and provide feedback to students, as well as grade homework and other assignments.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their children’s academic progress and address any concerns they may have.
• Attend faculty meetings, participate in school events, and contribute to the overall success of the school.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-year teaching experience in an elementary or kindergarten setting.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with the Reggio Emilia Approach and Waldorf activities is a plus.
