• 3 years of experience in Android system software development (e.g., kernel, device drivers, and system components).

• Experience developing android tests and applications.
• Experience building embedded system software stack.
• Experience bringing new ideas to solve/improve given problems.
• Understanding of android software and hardware architectures.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the software and hardware architecture designs for Google’s future SoCs and software features.
• Build prototype/production software across the android stack including kernel, BSP, framework, and application to prove the feasibility of designs.
• Build prototype/production software for embedded software stacks running inside Google’s SoCs.
• Manage and grow a team of software engineers to build software architecture and prototyping with making direct contributions for engineering tasks in the team.
• Collaborate across organizations and teams to move the architecture design into production.
