Job Description

• Create & execute product Go-To-Market (GTM) plans with deep understanding of customer needs and pain points, working closely with internal stakeholders to drive design wins, help achieve & exceed business targets
• Create & deliver targeted, clear outbound customer messaging with compelling value proposition, roadmap & product positioning to customers
• Manage all aspects of new product introduction, product transitions, end of life etc., aligning with Business Marketing & Sales
• Recognize and identify upcoming trends and growth in Industrial and IoT, mobile and automotive segments to position products and solutions from WDC portfolio
• Establish a firm handle on the market pulse through customer interfaces, ecosystem partners, broader industry network and thorough understanding of 3rd party analyst & other relevant industry reports etc.
• Be the center of knowledge for WDC product roadmap and market trends for key customers and partners in the region
• Gain sales mind share and set segment specific opportunity funnel and strategic goals
• Develop and track market segment related opportunity funnel and traction; and drive for results as needed
• Create localized product collateral for the region – customize and adapt technical details into Channel, OEM and end user benefits
• Provide product and technology guidelines to sales and tech support teams (FAEs) during the design cycle
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of proven product development & marketing experience in the semiconductor segment (preferably non-volatile storage or dynamic memory related)
• Demonstrated success in a senior product marketing role – value proposition communication, positioning and launching world-class products that meet and exceed business objectives
• Articulate with strong communication & listening skills; comfortable presenting to senior management & speaking both internally & externally - customers, public conferences etc.
• Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills
• Passionate about evolving markets where the use cases and ecosystem are still being defined
• Travel as needed
• B.Sc in EE or equivalent; MBA an advantage
