The PositionRole Scope:Internal Communication
  • Networks across the organization (Enabling Team, Squads/Ecosystems, Taskforces, etc)
  • Builds strategy for and fosters the use of new and existing internal communication channels including online (Google Currents, Sites, Chat), visual (on-site TVs, physical signage), and in-person (“Time To Connect”, lunches/happy hours, etc)
  • Leads the realization of RPT affiliate-level meetings Annual Meeting, weekly Time To Connect sessions, and regular on-site social events
  • Recruits employees as needed to co-create and realize communications in a way that enables a real-time, authentic, and transparent employee conversations
  • Guides teams on their communication needs and provides stewardship for consistency in practice when needed
  • Serves as an active member of One Roche & global communications communities, bringing knowledge and best-practices back to Taiwan and contributing back to the network
Employee Engagement
  • Identifies and champions activities that build and sustain the RPT culture, while strengthening bonds with RPT and the Pharma International network
  • Continue and evolve existing company traditions including the Children’s Walk, Christmas Charity Drive, Blood Drive, Live Well Week, Taiwan cultural celebrations (e.g. year end 尾牙/CNY, Moon & Dragon Boat festivals, etc)
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to engage employees throughout the year, organizes activities such as employee volunteering opportunities, celebrations, events and be a champion for DE&I
  • Work closely with the Enabling Team, People & Culture Chapter, Employee Welfare Committee (EWC) and Labor Management Committee to socialize and manage any employee-impacting changes
  • Being a catalyst to change in leading and/ or providing strategic thought partnership to projects and team members in key change initiatives and affiliate-wide events.
  • Practices high standards of compliance following Roche Code of Conduct with both external and internal policies and regulations as well as participate and be involved in SHE initiatives within the Company
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
  • Develops and implements a sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility strategic plan which adds to our shared purpose as Roche employees and continues to build Roche Pharma Taiwan’s reputation as an innovative, trustworthy and responsible corporate citizen
  • Provides key messages and narratives for internal stakeholders to engage external partners and the broader community in relation to CSR
Requirements:Education: You have tertiary education in communications, and/or business/commerce with relevant experience in internal/external communications, issues/reputation management and advocacy, within the commercial pharmaceutical or health sector.Working Experience: You have at least 5 years of related communications and engagement experience including communication platforms either at a Strategic Consultancy or in-house at a product-focused company. You are a strategic thinker with a relentless drive for results who thrives in an ever-evolving organization. Being a team player and strong relationship builder, you can influence without authority and take high accountability for your actions.Skills & Knowledge:
  • Fundamental understanding of team engagement and culture shaping
  • Fundamental understanding of effective communication principle and communication channel management
  • Interest / comfort learning and using digital communication tools & applications
  • Practical understanding of and experience working in an agile work environment
  • Fluency in written and verbal Mandarin & English languages
