General Summary

Developer/Data Engineer to support PTE OPS Team technology stack for Data Analytics and Machine Learning. This includes administration and monitoring of current environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in data engineering and analysis, data wrangling , and helping translate OPS Team business requirements into operational solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with one or more of the following languages: Python (required) and/or Java Script
• Experience with databases PostgreSQL, querying (SQL), and data modeling.
• Experience with TIBCO Data Virtualization
• Experience developing Data Warehouse and schema support
• Experience with Tempus resource management system
• Experience with unit testing, agile software development, and bug and change management systems
• Experience with web development framework Django , especially Rest API and ORM.
• Experience with Power BI and Excel Dashboard development
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Perl development
• Ability to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgment in a dynamic environment and prioritize and manage tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with stakeholders to provide technical solutions to business challenges
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.
• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.
• Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
• Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
