Principal Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager, Franchise Marketing, is an integral part of the franchise team responsible for leveraging resources from external parties, and working closely with company’s internal business units. Our goal is to maximize awareness, affinity and economic value of brands (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic) and character franchises to accelerate TWDC growth. Principal responsibilities include managing local campaigns and events; partnerships with stakeholders (internally with various Lines of business and externally with agencies and partners), assist in the execution of brand and annual CSR studies, and support various administrative functions related to smooth and efficient operation of Franchise team.

Responsibilities :

Local mega-size campaigns

Disney Franchise team is proud to have created numerous never-been-done-before, high profile, high impact campaigns by creatively working with third parties.

  • Co-create, develop, and manage brand building campaigns that are innovative, impactful, and most importantly, locally relevant. Excellent project management and communication skills are critical for this task. Examples of previous campaigns include 2022 PingTung Ricefield project, 2021 New Taipei City Xmas event, 2020 Penghu international Fireworks Festival, etc.
Concerts and exhibitions

  • Support partners and agencies while they bring in Disney musicals and concerts to Taiwan. Seeks ways to amplify awareness and drive ticket sales for these performances.
Social media management

  • Manage our main official social channels - Disney TW FB/IG. Through highly curated content, the aim is to engage fans with contents they seek and desire; deliver top quality content which align with our brands, and ultimately boost brand affinity and expand fan base.
  • Develop and build relationship with KOL and media; leverage these resources to support Franchise projects.
Brand/Character Research Study

  • Support the annual Character/Brand Equity Study.
Stakeholder management

  • ­Connect and build relationship with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth progress of all Franchise projects and maximize benefits for all.

Basic Qualifications :

We seek a self-motivated candidate with at least 5 years marketing experience.

  • 5 years marketing experience with 4A Advertising Agency or FMCG industry a plus
  • Experience in managing social platforms (FG/IG or others).
  • Experience in project management, able to see a campaign from start to the end while maintaining a healthy pace with high work standards.
  • Interpersonal skills (A team player that is able to balance needs of stakeholders. Internally work closely with Team lead and cross LOB.
  • Communication and presentation skills (clear, credible, creative).
  • Curious, optimistic, and adaptable (demonstrate maturity and flexibility, committed to achieve only the best results). Able to identify and resolve problems.
  • Set high standards, has integrity, also observant, diplomatic, and understands office hierarchy
  • Written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English. Ability to write top quality business e-mail is mandatory.
