Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategy for organizational accounting processes aligned with company’s Asia objectives.
  • Provides clear and effective direction and guidance in overall accounting functions of assigned division including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll. Manage Asia accounting resources. Direct/coordinate Asia accounting strategies and processes.
  • Lead and mentor accounting team; hiring, training, and developing individuals, fostering a culture of performance feedback, continuous improvement, accountability and collaboration.
  • Develops major goals to support Asia objectives communicating to team and aligning on individual objectives to ensure department and business results.
  • Reviews, evaluates and implements accounting systems, policies and procedures. Provides approval to internal policies and monitors for progress and alignment.
  • Oversees month-end and year-end closing and balance processes, reviews and prepares and presents monthly financial statements including but not limited to balance sheets, income statements, cash-flow reports, budgets, and variance analysis.
  • Supports and coordinates with FP&A team Directs budget preparation and forecasting processes, reviews budget proposals, and prepares supporting documents and justification for proposed budgets. Analyzes budgets and cost statistics for internal control use.
  • Coordinates and responsible for independent audit and preparation of annual tax documents.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including currency exchange rate fluctuations, geopolitical issues, and economic trends that impact Asia financial stability.
  • Manage and report Asia cash flow reporting, treasury activities, and foreign exchange exposure to optimize liquidity and minimize financial risks.
  • Play a key role in due diligence, financial integration, and post-acquisition financial performance analysis for Asia mergers and acquisitions.
  • Directs all analysis and reporting of financial information including budgets, planning, and required filings and reports. Presents findings and recommendations to management.

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates with CPA License.

    · CPA required

    · Public accounting experience preferred

    · 5+ years of progressive accounting roles for a global company or division of a large corporation. Bonus

    · International business exposure especially business culture in Asia. Experience with a manufacturing business or global supply chain management.

    · Demonstrated ability to interpret economic conditions and anticipate organizational impact, providing recommendations in advance to minimize organizational risk.

    · Enjoy working with people, and have demonstrable experience successfully developing and leading high-performing teams.

    · Strong organization, problem-solving, and analytical skills, able to manage competing priorities and workflow.

    · Exceptional knowledge of data collections, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.

    · Experience with global ERP system.
