About The Job

The Validation Engineers at Texas Instruments are powered by a passion for continual improvement. Our solutions make a real difference and yours will, too. We make the semiconductor product design process easier and faster, which helps our customers succeed in today’s fast-paced marketplace.

Responsibilities For This Role Are
  • Performs hands-on test and debug of power management integrated circuits (PMICs)
  • Develops validation plans, documents validation results, and gives technical presentations to peers and managers
  • Develops a system-level understanding of the collected data and support for anomaly resolution
  • Creates automated test sequences
  • Develops test hardware (schematic/layout)
  • Works as part of an international multi-disciplinary team

Minimum Requirements
  • Master’s or a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field of study
  • Knowledge of C language and Python-based test development
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 + years experience using lab instruments including oscilloscopes and function generators
  • With micro-controller or micro-testing experience would be plus
  • Familiarity with automating testing using bench equipment
  • Proficient with MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Analytical mindset and creativity, highly oriented towards problem solving
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
  • Good listener and excellent verbal and written communication skills
