Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of relevant work experience in Bluetooth software stack development with embedded systems(e.g. Android bluedroid stack)
• Experience in programming Languages (i.e, C++ or C), and Linux or Linux device drivers.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in Android Bluetooth with Android Phone
• Experience with application software development technologies and architecting.
• Experience in Python / Shell script.
• Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin fluently.
• Excellent problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

We work on building the next generation Google Pixel products and Bluetooth Frameworks to contribute them to the Android ecosystem. This job involves Bluetooth software/firmware functionality and creating the good performance and features on Google Pixel series products. We are looking for Firmware Engineers to help architect new hardware platforms, design cool new features and ship high-volume consumer devices.

Responsibilities

• Propose long term strategy for new features and lead design.
• Design, implement and maintain Android Bluetooth Connectivity features for Pixel devices.
• Bring up a variety of SoCs (working with chipset vendors)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for Bluetooth related features.
• Scope, plan, and oversee the execution of engineering projects to ensure quality and timely delivery.
