Position Impact

Product assurance team is looking for Sr. system integration testing engineers to improve the software/firmware quality of our products. The role is responsible for ensuring the software/firmware quality across all Gogoro products throughout different development stages. This includes creating and executing test plans based on the function specifications while also making modifications due to design changes. As our system integration engineer, you will oversee the entire development cycle including product (software/firmware) system design while validating from start to finish.

Responsibility and Expectations

• Collaborate with the development team to understand the software/firmware features, technical design, and hardware interface changes in order to develop appropriate integration and system-level test plans/cases from a different point of view.
• Maintain traceability of tests to requirements and specifications.
• Perform impact analysis of product (software/firmware) requirement changes.
• Execute manual/automated test plans for new features and maintenance release.
• Identify issues, bug tracking, and issue risk assessment.
• Design or implement automated test tools to reduce human resource.
• Desire to seek improvement in the quality assurance field.
• Deliver high quality and reliability products (software/firmware).
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related subjects.
• 5 to 8 years’ experience as a system integration testing engineer, preferably with exposure to manual and automated testing.
• Strong understanding of QA processes and concepts including test case preparation, and testing methodologies.
• Familiar with software/product development process and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent problem solving, time management and task prioritization skills.
• A fast learner and is able to keep pace in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical individuals.
• Ability to identify issues and is familiar with bug tracking process.
• Experience with MS SQL or MySQL is preferred.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
