All About The Role

In this role, you will assist SC Manager to manage the end-to-end supply planning for the MA in Taiwan with particular focus on demand planning, supply planning, inbound logistics, warehouse and distribution as well as inventory management.

What You’ll Do

Demand/Supply Planning & Inventory Management

Actively drive monthly S&OP in county to ensure integrated planning across functions to meet targets.

Drive collaboration with Customers, Sales, Product and Marketing for inputs to develop a 12-month rolling forecasts and to improve forecast accuracy.

Develop supply plans to maintain the optimal inventory levels and ensure timely placement of purchase orders to suppliers.

Set the appropriate inventory targets to ensure service commitments in line with budget/forecasts

Develop an effective relationship with suppliers to react quickly to changes in the market.

Measure the performance of the suppliers and escalate supply issues through correct channels for corrective actions.

Work with Product Line and Sales to improve inventory turns, reduce obsolescence and scrapping cost.

Work with 3PL partners to reduce product damage and returns as well as optimize the supply routing to meet the demand at the lowest possible cost and inventory levels.

Logistics, Warehousing & Transportation

Align with the suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely departure and arrival of the supplies at the desired destination.

Work with our customs brokers to ensure goods are cleared quickly and efficiently. Ensure the necessary certificates, import licenses, etc. are acquired in time and maintained to ensure smooth supplies and low operational cost.

Manage our 3PL partners to ensure day-to-day logistics activities across in-bound logistics, warehousing operations, distribution, returns and document management are executed in line with agreed performance levels.

As and when appropriate facilitate and drive the 3PL RFP process to ensure rates are competitive and services meet the necessary standards.

Use given key performance indicators to measure, report and improve performance against set goals.

Adopt ECIP method to continuously improve logistics cost.

In this role, you will be dealing with Electrolux’ internal and external customers. You should also be confident in dealing with leaders both from a country level and region perspective.

Qualification:

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Supply Chain management, ideally in a sales/manufacturing organization within the consumer goods, automotive or electronics industry

Solid experience in demand forecasting, supply planning, warehousing, logistics and distribution operations.

A basic understanding of local export/import regulations and custom brokerage processes in the region.

Works effectively/independently with cross functions.

Strong communication, analytical thinking, problem solving skills and ability to analyze

Experience working with ERP solutions (for example JDEwards/SAP/Oracle, etc.) Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Experiences In Warehouse And Logistics Is Preferred.

Possess analytical skills to investigate issues and develop solutions

Experience Working With ERP Solutions ( JDEwards /SAP/Oracle) Preferred

Experience using planning tools (Demand Solutions / SAP-APO) an advantage
