Primary Responsibilities

• New battery business development
• To accomplish assigned testing projects/ jobs correctly on schedule
• Conducting quality assurance and designing performance tests using the new testing procedures
• Routine operation/ maintenance/ calibration affairs for equipment
• Cell factory auditor

Reporting Line

• Reports To: Manager, REL Lab, SGS Taiwan

Specific Responsibilities

• Study relevant test specifications and operating procedures to understand the testing methods/ regulations/ standards and their update status
• Ensuring all tests and procedures for assigned projects meet company and industry standards in the newest version
• To confirm test spec/ method/ plan before project execution
• Negotiate project resource allocation
• Plan and schedule project timelines per requested schedule
• Perform testing and measurement task
• Troubleshooting any errors and streamlining the testing procedures
• Contacting clients to confirm/ clarify technical issues during project execution period
• Conduct cell factory audit project
• Apply judgment and acts according to the SGS standards of ethics and integrity

Profile

• University degree with technical background (BSc or equivalent) and good understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior
• Successful track record in business development preferably within global inspection and testing industry
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Comfortable using a computer for various tasks
• For Sr. Engineer, minimum 5 years experienced in a similar service provider and/or battery industry with practical experience of research & development

Required Skills

• Good in English (Listen/ Speak/ Read/ Write) (TOEIC > 400 is better)
• Ability to interact with all levels of management, consultants and clients
• Ability to work independently and to coordinate several complex activities simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Work well under pressure
