General Purpose:

Full-time position available for Optical Engineer Product Development Engineer to take on the optical function of Corsair Gaming products. In this position, a strong candidate will be the key technical contributor whose responsibilities will be to oversee and drive the development of our next generation gaming products and accessories. The Product Development Engineer is a champion to accomplish these tasks by blending the technical, project and supplier management skills while working with our ODM partners / CM suppliers as well as heading up independent development on new innovative products.

Position Summary

, Responsibilities And Expectations

• Perform engineering duties and disciplines in optical function development, such as, luminous product design experience, failure analysis, troubleshooting, and 2D/3D ProE design.
• Design and qualify optical system for new product require.
• Be capable for optical simulation and provide solution (Trace Pro)
• Familiar with RGB LED application and light guide design experience.
• Create and maintain engineering milestones and support internal engineering teams.
• Define technical means to achieve target performance, features, and market objectives.
• Perform testing and debug efforts on system development platforms.
• Define corrective actions of failure analysis and provide technical risk to management/ program teams.
• Function as the technical contact and responsible for communicating with ODM/CM vendors on future Corsair Gaming products.
• Develop infrastructure and processes to effectively evaluate and qualify new products.
• Manage the specification, development, and qualification of future Corsair Gaming products.
  

Essential

Skills And Experience

• Bachelor in Mechanical /Optical/ Physical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum experience/education: over 8 years , BSME or equivalent.
• In depth knowledge of optical design, simulation, testing and manufacturing experiencecs.
• Solid work ethic and team player with organized and detailed oriented skills and with passion to drive projects to completion.
• Background in sequential and non-sequential ray tracing for optical design and stray-light (Zemax/CodeV/ASAP/Lightools/Tracepro)
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills to communicate accurate, organized, and detailed reports and results.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage vendors to meet spec and schedule requirements.
• English and Chinese in spoken and written is a MUST.
