[Summary]

Our (Sr.) Financial Analyst will primarily be responsible to manage the finance and accounting for SMC in Beijing, Japan, and Korea etc. subsidiaries to provide the timely and accurate month end closing, financial reporting and daily assignment. Furthermore, he or she is also accountable to review new product request (NPR) to ensure new product master data setup accuracy transfer to SAP. An ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, possess working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and TW EAS, and pay attention to detail. Moreover, he or she is available to collaborate with overseas accounting firms proactively, meanwhile is available to have well outsource accounting service management skills. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on team player possessing solid organizational and communication skills.

[Essential Duties and Responsibilities]

The responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

1. Review accounting firms FS report accuracy and upload to SAP to meet monthly closing timeline to complete the assigned subsidiaries financial statement for HQ consolidation.

2. Review subsidiaries headcount, salaries, and payments etc. and provide solid expense analysis to management team for payment release.

3. Fulfill local statuary requirement for annual audit and tax filing.

4. Comply with Internal & External audit.

5. Set up an outsource service management mechanism and request outsourcing partners to improve if necessary.

6. Validate New Product Request (NPR) master data accuracy.

7. Ad-hoc requests assigned.

[Qualifications]

1. Bachelor degree or above

2. At least 4 years relevant accounting experience or 2 years Big 4 Accounting Firm experience.

3. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and TW EAS.

4. Excellent MS office, especially Excel.

5. Excellent communication skills.

6. ERP experience is a plus, SAP preferred.

7. Fluent in writing and speaking English.

8. Proactive, mature, detail oriented, willing to work with deadline.
