Weare currently looking for participants between 40 to 65 years old to join our onsite Speech Collection project Trio in Taipei, Taiwan.

The purpose of this project is to study and improve user interactions in traditional Chinese (Taiwan) with a virtual assistant on different devices. The participants will interact with a voice assistant, following the guidelines provided during each specific session on our premises.

This project consists of 3 different independent tasks:

• Task A: 3 audio recording sessions (about 2 hours each and up to 6 hours and 30 minutes in total)
• Task B: 1 audio recording session while being video recorded (up to 1 hour and 30 minutes in total)
• Task C: 1 recording session while being video recorded (up to 2 hours in total).

Each participant can participate in one, two or three tasks.

A member of our Scheduling Team will reach out to selected participants to schedule their session(s).

Depending on availability and task(s) chosen, participation can be scheduled across different days.

Requirements:

• Be 40 to 65 years old.
• Be a resident of Taiwan.
• Be a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese (Taiwan).
• Be able to visit our premises in Taipei, Taiwanfor scheduled session(s) onsite.

Compensation:

The compensation will depend on which task(s) you will successfully complete:

• Task A: 240 USDfor 3 recording sessions (about 2 hours each and up to 6 hours and 30 minutes in total). Please note that to be eligible for payment for Task A, you will need to successfully complete all 3 recording sessions.
• Task B: 60 USD for 1 session (up to 1 hour and 30 minutes in total).
• Task C: 85 USD for 1 session (up to 2 hours in total).
