Job Description / Responsibilities

Sourcing Manager at Qualcomm will lead development of supply strategies and procurement policies and implementation. They are responsible for managing all aspects of the business, engagement strategy, and performance of external contract manufacturers (OSAT, EMS etc) and core technology providers. The individual will assess markets, leverage competition and strike supplier agreements to provide to long-term supply assurance and pricing advantages to Qualcomm.

Individual will have the opportunity to work with diverse and talented inter-disciplinary group on leading edge technologies and influence product decisions for the company.

Responsibilities Include

Development of suppliers to enable long term competitive supply chain

Identify, source and develop new supplier opportunities

Analyze markets and develop cost reduction and negotiation strategies

Collaborate across the various functions in the organizations to ensure business objectives are met.

Assess and mitigate supply and ecosystem risk to supply

Basic Qualifications

8-10 year experience in sourcing and multifunctional supply chain experience in electronics industry.

Strong knowledge of electronics and/or semiconductor packaging solutions is a plus.

Track record of collaboration and delivering results in a cross functional environment is required.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Excellent interpersonal skills with a penchant for team work.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor’s in Electrical and/or Chemical and/or Material Science Engineering
