Software / Firmware Test Automation Engineer

Job Duty,

1.Building test suite that will support testing plan. This test plan can be PC/MAC related or iOS/Android, etc.

2.Set up test systems to support various audio/video applications, and to recommend areas of improvements and enhancements.

3.Experience implementing Quality Assurance best practices pertaining to test definition, requirements tracking, and test automation

4.Support distributed development and test teams

5.Execute tests and able to distinguish between Hardware failures, Firmware failures, problems coming for the Host, or network environment.

Qualifications

•5+ years of experience in QA/Testing & Test Automation.

•Experience with test automation in Python

•Experience with cloud based testing and automation, using Selenium, Restful APIs, and Java.

•Experience in testing methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging.

•Proficient in JavaScript, Python, Selenium.

•Proficient in Software Engineering, Data Structures, and Object-Oriented Programming.

•In depth knowledge of debugging, automation, RESTful web services, and APIs.

•Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, Git, container technology (Docker, Kubernetes), Agile/Scrum methodologies.

•A desire to automate everything and reduce the time required to manually test products.

•Creative, independent, self-motivated, and quick to learn new technologies.

•Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

•Excellent oral and written communication skills.

•Ability to work individually and in a team environment
