• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in one of the following areas: Android software stack, System on a Chip (SoC) architecture, or embedded systems.
• Experience with software development in C/C++.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience developing Android tests and applications.
• Experience building embedded system software stack.
• Knowledge of Android software and hardware architectures.
• Knowledge of SoC Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Build prototype and production software across the Android stack including kernel, Board Support Package (BSP), framework, and application to prove the feasibility of designs.
• Build prototype and production software for embedded software stacks running inside Google’s SoCs.
• Contribute to the software and hardware architecture designs for Google’s future SoCs and software features.
• Collaborate across organizations and teams to move the architecture design into production.
