As VanMoof strengthens its position as global e-bike leaders, our Procurement team is on the lookout for a Senior Supply Chain Operations Specialist to optimize the production plan so we can achieve our goals. You’ll be based at our production headquarters in Taiwan, and work within a tight-knit team to monitor our supply chain logistics and day-to-day operations.

Your work will be divided into three key areas: vendor and contract manufacturer management, key component management, and demand and production planning. As our Senior Supply Chain Operation Specialist, you’ll be expected to review what we call the four M’s – machine, material, manpower, and method – with our contract manufacturers.

Our ideal candidate has experience both in scaling up supply chain operations, and in production planning and execution. You should be able to thrive in an ambitious and fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills.

What you’ll do:

• You’ll communicate with our contract manufacturers, planning team, suppliers for forecast and production planning.
• You’ll track the material and production status to fulfill our demand worldwide.
• You’ll work with the Sourcing team to resolve supply issues and manage our supply and demand tracking.
• You’ll coordinate product life cycle activities such as ECN monitoring, second source and cost-down introduction.
• You’ll support a new product ramp up to fulfill business requirements.
  
  

What you’ll bring:

• You have at least five years of experience in sourcing or manufacturing in a related field, preferably within a fast-paced company with a focus on R&D and production.
• You have data analysis and report generation skills.
• You have an appreciation for numbers and you’re comfortable presenting.
• You have excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• You are skilled at using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• You have the flexibility and drive to work and achieve ambitious goals in a fast-paced start-up environment with an ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
• You’re fluent in English and Mandarin.
• You are currently based in Taiwan.
