About the role
Our Hardware Design and Engineering team is a high-energy, collaborative, dedicated, results-driven group. Creating amazing customer experiences is our North Star, and we love learning from the best.

As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer at Dance you will work closely with our program and engineering teams to design ebikes and supporting products that amaze and delight our customers, while also being safe, reliable, and simple to service. Supplier quality engineering for this role includes risks and potential analysis of suppliers, definition of quality requirements and quality goals. You will also conduct audit performance for prototype and first article inspections, as well as visiting manufacturer facilities and assembly lines for onsite manufacturing inspections. Our Senior Supplier Quality Engineer will source, evaluate, develop, monitor and elevate suppliers to reach joint goals for highest quality and reliability.

This position is based out of Asia, with frequent travel to Taiwan and China. The role also requires international travel to our headquarters in Berlin, as well as supply chain partners around Asia and in Europe. We believe in the power of working together in the same space; at the same time we also appreciate the advantages of working remotely from time to time. About you
You have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent and have at least 5 years experience as a supplier quality engineer with a background in mechanical engineering. You have strong intercultural competence and ideally experience with manufacturing partners for mass production of products in Asia and Europe. Your outstanding personality creates a cooperative and joint target-driven environment even in phases of highest stress. When you think of the manufactured subparts, you see them not only seamlessly fitting into the assembly of the end-product, but also envision them to be the most reliable in service.
