The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for maximizing Veeco’s sales volume and building influential relationships with customers. Reporting directly to the Vice President & General Manager, Taiwan, the Sales Manager will manage and coordinate all sales activities and has the sales responsibility for the company’s capital equipment sales for the assigned products and customers. In addition, this role is responsible for supporting business unit strategies for growing services revenue and will align and coordinate the efforts of appropriate resources within both Veeco and the customer in order to maximize customer satisfaction. The primary role is to attain sales goals by developing sales, increasing product market share, establishing and enhancing relationships with customers, and maximizing customer satisfaction without sacrificing profitability.

Responsibilities
  • Sales under Veeco Taiwan sales organization for the assigned customers in Taiwan.
  • Be responsible for Veeco PSP Wet Process equipment for Semi, Compound Semi, OSAT Advanced Packaging account business negotiation and management.
  • Interface with each department to drive resources and activities to ensure regional issues be properly communicated, coordinated, and resolved.
  • Be the PSP product leader to plan and execute strategies, and to communicate product value solutions and resolve issues at customers.
  • Aggressively develop business opportunities, and proactively lead team on winning strategy executions.
  • Provide accurate booking forecasts, prompt meeting notes, desired reports, and properly maintain business documentation.
  • Establish strong and in-depth customer trust and business relationship
  • Intelligence: market information, competitor status, and investment plan through channels and customers.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas.
  • Follow company HR policy, Code of Conduct, and meet specific expense control.


Qualification
  • BS required and preferable MS in Chemistry, and Chemical Engineering
  • Preferred 7 or more years in Semi, Compound Semi, or OSAT Dry/Wet Front or Backend Processes Equipment Industry.


Knowledge; Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience with TEL, DNS, MEI, RENA, GPTC Wet processing batch and/or single wafer tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated record of ability to build solid and influential relationships
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results. Mature and resilient personality can work under pressure.
  • Strong business sense and selling strategy with solid technical knowledge and contact channels.
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude with team player interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with presentation and familiar with presentation tools, Words, and Excel.
  • Travel required.
