As the APAC Recruiting Senior Manager at Verizon Media, you’ll lead the team to shape our vision and strategy to hire the best diverse builders for our Business teams, including Tech roles, Sales and supporting functions. You will also lead the APAC Recruiting team that delivers our regional recruitment for Tech & Business hiring including internal hiring, recruiting marketing and referrals.

Working closely with global counterparts and cross-functional partners you’ll have diversity and inclusion at the heart of your team’s culture and priorities. You will lead with operational excellence and a passion for inspiring others and growing careers to achieve results for our Apac region.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a recruiting team responsible for finding the world’s best and diverse talent
  • Work together to adapt our foundation and ways of operating to accelerate our vision
  • Unlock the full potential of people, technology and data to differentiate recruiting experiences at scale
  • Inspire the Regional recruiting team to achieve great results and create a culture of engagement, inclusion and growth for your team.
  • Lead the recruiting strategy and delivery for both experienced and emerging talent ensuring alignment to the hiring goals and partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Partner with leaders in various locations to build and execute hiring strategies, creating and agreeing upon appropriate service level agreements with hiring managers
  • Collaborate with Regional and Global Recruiting colleagues and HR to deliver on shared goals and benefit from International collaboration and community
  • Stay on top of new trends in the industry and marketplace and maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruiting issues and trends
Minimum Qualification
  • APAC Regional recruiting leadership experience, from developing strategy to operational execution.
  • Experience operating and influencing strategically at all levels across all cross-functional partners
  • Managed a distributed diverse and inclusive team.
  • Experience translating data and analysis into strategic recruitment recommendations and follow through with metric-driven execution, leading others to do the same
  • Knowledge and experience of global compliance procedures to compliment the recruiting process.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience in driving diverse hiring goals.
  • Must have fluency in English, Mandarin and ideally Cantonese and or Japanese
