Sea Logistics Pricing Specialist

Our continued global success in sea logistics depends on having the right people in our collaborative and quality-focused team. This position will ensure we maintain our competitive advantage by closing new local and overseas bid controlled businesses.
Your Role

In this role, you will negotiate with carriers/subcontractors to ensure professional and profitable pricing offers. You will build and expand locally controlled business by working with Sales team and Kuehne + Nagel overseas network offices. You will also provide exceptional customer experience in order to ensure the budgeted revenues and volumes for Sea Logistics are achieved.
Your Responsibilities

• To respond to sales rate requests relating to Sea Freight promptly and accurately.
• To communicate with overseas’ offices to secure competitive destination charges.
• To communicate with concerned parties to secure competitive origin charges.
• To communicate with Trade Managers to secure competitive spot rates.
• To gather market intelligence from other competitors to determine the bottom line of carrier rates.
• To maximizie sales growth from new & existing customers through the development of new sales, providing support on product marketing, implementation of customer support strategies and achieving specific volume growth targets in the assigned areas of the business.
• To drive and monitor route development effectiveness, reports on market information, competitor activities and product issues etc
• To handle rates negotiations with carriers, subcontractors and overseas’ offices.
  
  

Your Skills And Experiences

• To be considered, you must have at least 4 years of experience in sea logistics. You are committed to deliver the best customer care experience, and at the same time, drive business development to achieve growth targets. Good communication skills in English and Mandarin are necessary for this role.
