The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Sales Operations Assistant to join our small but growing Sales team, based in our Taiwan office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career by working as part of a dynamic, innovative, fast-growing business.

The role will be part-time and will be for approx. 3 days per week. We can be flexible around working patterns and what days the role will work on.

This is a new role within the Sales team and, as such, provides scope for career growth as both the company and the role expand. The Sales Operations Assistant will support the APAC sales team in all aspects of the day-to-day sales, with a specific focus on operational support.

Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities may vary depending on business requirements, but the core of the role will include:
  • Customer support including order entry, scheduling, confirmation, payment, shipping arrangements, cooperating with the supply chain, finance and weekly backlog update to distributors
  • Consolidating the demand forecast from Sales, and sharing with the Operation team monthly
  • Generating and sharing various sales reports:
    • Demand creation pipelines
    • Business performance – Revenue + backlog vs target
    • DI/DW performance vs target
  • CRM management: Be the CRM champion for the Sales team in APAC
    • Manage CRM system by inputting data & updates properly
    • Train new team members on the CRM
  • General sales administration

Requirements

The successful applicant will most likely have solid experience in a similar role, ideally within a technology company, although this is not essential. You will need a can-do attitude and must be prepared to get stuck in and help out in all areas of sales operations and support.

It is not necessary to have prior experience of all the responsibilities detailed above, but you should be able to demonstrate applicable skills that would make you suitable for the role.

Essential
  • A University or similar level education
  • Demonstrable working experience in sales support, sales operations or a relevant customer service environment
  • Fluent English skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and internal departments

Desirable
  • Experience of sales support in a technology related business
  • Experience of working in a small, growing company or team
