Job Description
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Project management for a variety of renewable energy project services, such as feasibility studies, lenders’ technical due diligence and owner’s engineer services, across the all project lifecycle stages, including development, financing, design, construction and operations.
• Responsibility for delivering projects which are on schedule and to budget, and which exceed our clients’ expectations.
• Accountable for project management leadership by attending meetings with clients, addressing technical and commercial issues, and undertaking site visits.
• Acting as a focal point to liaise with various stakeholders both internal and external.
• Supporting and developing other team members to deliver high quality work.
• Ensuring compliance with our business management systems.
• Supporting business development activities.
• Providing subject-matter expertise.
• Collaborating with other team members (both locally and globally), across disciplines and sectors, to encourage innovation and open opportunities with connected thinking.
  

Candidate Specification
What can you bring to the team?

• A good Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• At least 2 years of work experience in project delivery/management of engineering projects.
• Direct work experience in wind or solar energy projects across East Asia region is a plus.
• Passion for renewable energy.
• Full proficiency in English writing and speaking.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred but not mandatory.
• Project management experience: track record of leading and managing multi-disciplinary project teams, project budgets and schedules.
• Hands-on experience in business development and in client-facing roles is a plus.
• Ability to demonstrate comprehension of technical concepts, as well as the capability and keenness to solve complex engineering issues.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and numerical capabilities.
• Self-driven and quality-oriented mindset, with a willingness to bring your best to every project.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commercial-driven focus, with the ability to identify and manage risks.
• Enthusiasm to work on a variety of different types of projects, according to our client’s requirements.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel when needed for project site visits or client meetings.
  

Job Profile
We are currently seeking a Renewable Energy Project Manager/Engineer for our team in Taipei.

In this role you will find opportunities for strong career progression by contributing to our large scale local and international projects. You will apply your working experience in providing engineering services to clients including technical advisory, lender’s engineering and owner’s engineering services. You will be working hand-in-hand across the global Mott MacDonald Group as part of a large project team to deliver on our global projects.
