This Project Manager (ASIC Design Project Manager) will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document ASIC micro-architecture
• Able to help with writing specifications from high level requirements
• Act as bridge between Offshore team and Customer
• Set project timeline
• Monitor project deliverables
• Plan, track, consolidate numbers from local/regional team members and report progress to leadership on a regular basis.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with local/regional team members and management
• Work with client’s Taiwan team, HCL’s India & Taiwan Teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience on ASIC design
• Bachelor’s Degree or above, major in Electrical Engineering
• Familiar with the entire ASIC design cycle – Specification to Tapeout
• Familiar with the Digital and Analog technologies for ASIC
• Automated Tester Equipment (ATE) knowledge preferred
• Excellent English communication skills (speaks English fluently is a must)
• Strong business acumen in project planning & management
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
• Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising local/regional teams
• Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
• Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
• Can work under pressure
• Working permit and Mandarin ability are required with foreigner
