The Role

Ampere needs experienced program manager to manage, drive, and execute the projects with various ODM partners globally. In this role, you will interface with Ampere senior leaders, FAEs, HW & SW engineers as well as ODM teams to deliver the final products.

What The ODM Management Team Wants You To Know

ODM Management is the team to deliver the product from NPI to mass production. A critical function team to make sure the design/manufacture tasks at ODM is completed and deliver the platforms to customers.

What You’ll Do

As a member of the ODM PM team, you will perform program managing of various ODM projects. And work with Ampere Sales, PAE, AE, and engineering teams worldwide to provide server design related support. Need to travel to different regions whenever needed. PM is the first line of customer support who required to have people skills, good communication, and knowledge to understand the questions in combination of hardware/firmware/OS.

Your key deliverables will be to help not just Ampere but also customers successfully launch the platforms/products based on Ampere’s technology. You will need to have good experience of support ODM partners from the initial spec-in till final product delivery.

What You’ll Bring

• Working Experience in ODM to manage projects from spec-in, bring-up, validation, to final production
• Excellent Knowledge of server system architect
• Comfortable with working in highly matrixed teams and organizations
• Ability to dive deeply to understand issues and suggest feasible solutions to summarize key points to management
• Ability to learn new technology quickly
• Understand cost structure and ability to do detail cost analysis
• This position requires an individual with excellent organizational and communication skills
• Not afraid to make decisions and able to handle tedious details
• Good command of presentation preparation tools of Power points, Excel, SharePoint, and others.
  

Education & Experience

• 7+ years’ experience with a degree in Business management, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
