Formula development for NPD/ Reformulation

1. Understand, and align target consumer/occasion, consumer needs, target benefit, target cost, and timeline including key milestone, through discussion with Regional Marketing Director/Sr. Manager

2. Develop new formula with deep understanding of consumer needs, health and ingredient trends

3. Assess all technical risks through feasibility study and provide technical solutions

4. Manage projects to move forward on time

5. Assess all the risk of new ingredients to obtain internal approval, in collaboration with QA/ Procurement

6. Confirm regulatory compliance with QA on time

7. Evaluate/ confirm no technical issue including product stability and safety, micro, and IP infringement

8. Finalize formula including setting specs/process

9. Scale up for commercial production by test trial

Leadership/ For the team

1. Accumulate knowledge/ learning in the area of product development/ raw material/ technical issues, etc. and share with team

2. Propose new ideas/ useful equipment/ technologies to be effective for the team

Management of all daily activity as head of TW PD team

1. Attendance to the meeting with other division in Taiwan

2. Budget control

Education:

A bachelor’s degree or above about Food science category

Relevant Experience:

At least 8 years of experience in product /technology development.

Experience in food or beverage finish goods or ingredient development is preferred.
