At such an exciting time key talent is critical, and this role is a great opportunity to be part of our next chapter.Role purpose:The Pricing and Packaging Manager will oversee the implementation of pricing and packaging initiatives, projects and price changes within the Inspection Services business, driving continual improvement around our pricing and packaging strategy, to deliver company-level financial benefits.As a key member of the newly established pricing function within LRQA, the pricing manager will act as business partner and trusted advisor to stakeholders across the Inspection Services business unit, and the wider LRQA busienss. Working with virtual teams spanning product management, marketing, pricing & analytics, transformation and finance, the role will report to the Head of Pricing with a dotted line to the Director of the Inspection Services business unit.The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen and pricing experience with outstanding stakeholder management and collaboration skills, in order to contribute to pricing strategy whilst ensuring seamless execution of that strategy. They will ensure that pricing initiatives agreed for their business unit are delivered successfully and on-time, as well as driving the implementation, adoption, and refinement of new pricing processes.Key Responsibilities:Continually identify new opportunities for pricing-driven profitability growth across sales to new and existing customersSource potential pricing initiatives, assess all suggestions and prioritise initiatives for delivery based on analysis of impact, time to implement and ease of deliveryCreate and maintain global price books, set price levels, and oversee pricing execution across the business unitAnalyse and forecast the financial impact of new and existing pricing initiatives; continually track progressIdentify software or tools that complement and evolve pricing strategy and processesWork with and deliver regular updates to key stakeholders within their business unit and the wider business, to maintain awareness, understanding of and buy-in to pricing projects and strategyReviewing existing pricing and packaging to identify opportunities for enhancing current & future performanceHelp to shape future pricing and packaging models that re fl ect the bene fi ts of the LRQA products and services portfolioTroubleshoot and escalate/ report any issues that arise before, during, or after pricing changes, projects or initiatives in a timely manner, to preserve confidence in the new pricing strategyAdvocate to ensure pricing best practice is proactively promoted and work closely with business unit sales teams to ensure take-up and consistency of approach whilst remaining aware of local variationsAdvise key stakeholders across the business on tactical pricing options including value-add options in addition to ratesProvide subject matter expert to boarder proposition, product development and transformation initiativesWork closely with the pricing analytics team and other functions to define, set, and monitor the KPIs for each upcoming pricing initiative to ensure that revenue and margin outcomes can be accurately forecast and measured for the business unitDiversity and Inclusion at LRQA:We are on a mission to be the place where we all want to work and we are passionate about embracing different perspectives because we understand the value this brings to our business, our clients and each other.
