Join us in this role where you’ll be the project manager responsible for the operations and maintenance setup for asset projects and secure readiness and hand-over to the Operations team for our next project in Taiwan.

Welcome to Operations Development & Preparation

You’ll be part of a global team, Operation Preparation Projects (OPP), while on a day-to-day basis you’ll work in APAC Operations as well as across the wider APAC business where you, together with your colleagues, will manage the process leading to the transfer of wind farm from construction to operation, including safety and quality aspects. Overall, the Operation Preparation Projects team is responsible for delivering the operational setup for new wind farms while becoming an integrated part of the construction team.

You’ll play an important role in:

• leading the preparation work to set up future operations of the wind farm and acting as the Operations focal point for the construction project
• being responsible for, and in cooperation with the rest of the organization, implementing all relevant systems, processes, site organization, and logistics to allow our team to operate effectively
• preparing and presenting decision materials to management and other stakeholders, ensuring that risks are quantified and/or qualified, resources are appropriately allocated, decisions logged, etc.
• continuously striving, along with the rest of the organization, to identify and implement continuous improvements in our way of working and reduce costs in the operational setup
• actively seeking portfolio and programme synergies with other APAC projects in all phases of the development/execution and continuously sharing lessons learned within the global OPP organization.
  

To succeed in the role, you:

• have strong programme and project management skills and an excellent understanding of stakeholder management, business case principles, as well as a solid understanding of operational and project environments
• can demonstrate project management experience, including experience with stakeholder relations, resource coordination, cost management, planning, reporting, compliance, and contract management
• have an independent, organized, and structured approach to your work, yet also have the ability to work without a structure in place
• have a master’s degree level combined with solid project management experience, preferably in a large infrastructure
• have excellent English skills, enabling you to effectively communicate orally and in writing – Mandarin is not a requirement but will be useful.
• can immerse yourself in and understand very different cultures, communication styles and be the effective bridge between your many varied stakeholders – all while building and maintaining a network to support your work scope.
