Job Description

NZXT is looking for a Portables Electrical Engineer in our Taiwan office. You will help design and test the electronics hardware for our portable products. You will work closely with our firmware, software, and product development teams to ensure defect-free and on-time product launches.

Position Summary And Key Responsibilities

• Study product requirements and help develop electrical designs and specifications
• Use and review electronic design automation (EDA) tools to perform schematic capture and PCB layout and routing
• Perform component selection, manage bills of material, and find alternate components for sourcing when needed
• Perform testing and debugging for initial board bring up.
• Assure product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities
• Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests
  
  

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other related fields
• 10 plus years of progressive experience in the engineering and design of electrical systems
• 10+ years in schematic and PCB design experience.
• Experience with mixed signal (analog and digital), high speed, audio, RF circuit and PCB design
• Experience with ORCAD, Allegro, and PADS software tools
• Experience with wireless technologies such as Bluetooth and 2.4GHz proprietary
  
  

Skills

• Not afraid to handle a soldering iron (0402, 0201, IC, and other SMD components) to do board rework
• Knowledge with USB, I2C, SPI, and other standard electrical interfaces and protocols
• Knowledge with RF, audio, microcontroller (MCU) architectures such as ARM Cortex
• Knowledge with product design flow and factory process
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good English proficiency
