They assist their clients in minimizing manufacturing and transportation expenses while enhancing their supply chain efficiency.

Job Summary

As a System Lead specialized in White Box Server Product Management, you will lead the development and lifecycle management of server products. You will consult on system architectures, assess technical requirements and competencies needed during quoting and oversee design progressions during product developments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and drive white box server product development initiatives.
• Represent our client’s Design Engineering in technical customer discussions and meetings.
• Collaborate with Project Managers in the quoting process, providing crucial technical insights.
• Provide technical input to mitigate project risks that might impact schedules and plans.
• Mentor engineering teams, ensuring their continuous development and adherence to best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest server technology, ensuring designs remain competitive and cost-effective.
• Contribute to enhancing our client’s industry reputation through publications, presentations, and active participation in relevant trade groups.

Education and Experience

• Masters degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Minimum of 10+ years in server product management, with minimum of 14 years professional experience
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Lead Engineer
• Proven track record in guiding product development teams to successful outcomes.

Job Qualifications

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to develop mathematical models of physical reality and solve them, then implement the results.
